Dr. Martina Cartwright
Martina Cartwright is a registered dietitian (R.D.) with a Ph.D. in Nutritional Science and Biomolecular Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has more than 18 years experience in medical education, scientific research and clinical practice in both the academic and pharmaceutical settings. Martina’s clinical interests are intensive care medicine, sepsis, infectious diseases, eating disorders, developmental biology and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Cartwright published one of the first peer-reviewed medical journal articles on the effects of child beauty pageant participation of self-worth. Earlier in her career, Martina served as a nutrition consultant to the Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas and was a nutritionist for the Las Vegas Canyon Ranch Spa. A contributor to articles featured in Redbook and Health, Martina continues to be a featured presenter at scientific-medical conferences and symposia. Dr. Cartwright is an adjunct faculty member within the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Arizona and works as an independent biomedical consultant and author in Scottsdale. www.MartinaCartwright.com
Dr. Larry Culliford
Born in UK 1950; studied medicine at Cambridge University; studied psychiatry in New Zealand and Australia; worked as a psychiatrist in UK’s National Health Service until 2007; no clinical practice since 2011. Larry helped set up the ‘spirituality and psychiatry’ special interest group of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (London) in 1998. He taught a module on ‘spirituality and healthcare’ to medical students 2004-7.
